Review: Killer Cowboy

Killer Cowboy Killer Cowboy by Carla Cassidy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Killer Cowboy by Carla Cassidy is the sixth book in the Cowboys of Holiday Ranch series. Things at the Holiday Ranch have went crazy since Cassie took over. Skeletons found, a dead body in the barn, and Cassie's own life may be in danger. Dillon has got to find a way to solve these crimes as the town sheriff. This book is another great one by Carla Cassidy. It is action packed and well written.

Cassie is an artist that dreams of going back to New York to sell her work. First she has to figure out what to do about the ranch her deceased aunt left to her. Cassie is torn between a rock and hard place she knows nothing about the ranch life but doesn't want to leave all these men without work. Plus she would miss Dillon.

Dillon is the sheriff and it's eating him alive that he can't seem to find the answers to the seven skeletons found on the Holiday Ranch. Then he gets a call about a ranch hand being found murdered in the barn. He hates all the trouble that has seem to fall on the Holiday Ranch but he has to keep a distance from Cassie as he solves these crimes. He can't be put in the same position he was years ago. A woman has already left town with his heart once. he can't go falling for another woman who could do the same.

If you like action packed suspenseful romance this is a novel for you. Carla Cassidy did a wonderful job with this one just like the rest of the series. If you haven't started this series I suggest you do. The series can be read stand alone or in order whichever you prefer.
