Review: The Sheikh’s Secret Child

The Sheikh’s Secret Child The Sheikh’s Secret Child by Leslie North
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Sheikh's Secret Child is the second book in Karawi Sheikhs series Even thought this book is part of a series it can very well be read as a stand alone. I love how feisty Amy was during this book. Bahir was an alpha male but never went full on alpha in this book. I loved that is was focused more on Aisha. Great read.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Scarlet Mark: Lexi C Foss

Scarlet MarkScarlet Mark by Lexi C. Foss
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Scarlet Mark by Lexi C. Foss is a book in the Cavalieri Della Morte series. It is the first book of this series for me and let me tell you it blew my mind! I was intrigued by the description. Then the warning in the first of the book almost had me putting it down. I am so glad I didn't though.

I must say that Killian and Amara pulled me in. This book is so emotional and full of against. I can't describe the emotions in these pages without giving anything and let me tell you this book is amazing. Killian is an assasin for hire and Amara is his mark. Both have led such dark lives once they entertwine it ravels so tight you can't hardly tell whicone has really had the darker beginning.

Review: Taken by Storm

Taken by Storm Taken by Storm by Cat Schield
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Taken by Storm by Cat Chield is the second book the Dynasties: Secrets of the A-List series. I would suggest you read this series in order to keep up with everything going on. The lies, the drama, the secrets, and the back stabbing. You have a real life daytime drama unfolding in the pages. You don't want to miss a second of it by skipping any of the books.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with these A listers. Shane and Isabel took the pages by storm as well as did Liam and Teresa. This book is wonderful. The characters flow perfectly togther. It is inevitable that they will all combust together at some point.

Review: A Contract Seduction

A Contract Seduction A Contract Seduction by Janice Maynard
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A Contract Seduction by Janice Maynard was an interesting read. I enjoyed the story between Jonathan and Lisette. Jonathan is faceing the last few days of his life and ask his assisstant to become his wife out of desperation of everyone knowing he may be dieing and his world crumbling around him. Lisette is having a hard time continueing to work for Jonathan is turning in her notice until she hears how much he needs her. I enjoyed the characters but for me this book screamed desperation. I would love to have seen the two come together without being forced together under the circumstances.

Review: Operation Hero's Watch

Operation Hero's Watch Operation Hero's Watch by Justine Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Operation Hero's Watch by Justine Davis is the tenth book in the Cutter's Code series. I have missed a few throughout this series but I must say it never disappoints. I love the way that Cutter chooses the cases and helps the couples till they realize they were meant to be together. Jace and Cassidy were no different. This book was an awesome read and I can't wait till the next one.

Review: Ghost

Ghost Ghost by Janie Crouch
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ghost by Janie Crouch is the fifth book in the Linear Tactical series. I have been dying to get my hands on this book and let me tell you Janie did not disappoint. Even with one eye open I had to finish this book last night. I could not put it down.

Dorian aka Ghost and Grace aka Ray have a story that is so heart wrenching that its mind blowing. I could feel the pain radiating off the pages as I read their story. Ghost has stood out waiting for his story to unfold as I have read this series and I dumb founded and blown away at the way Janie told it.

I thought he needed someone less broken to help him heal but boy was I wrong. He needed someone more broken than himself just so he could absolutely focus on her. Ray is the absolute perfect person for Ghost to pour his heart and soul into. No one else ever could have came close. Even when he thought she was dead for six years he felt nothing toward anyone else.

I did not feel that this book was anywhere as suspenseful as I have came to find Janie's other work but this one has so much more to it. I absolutely adored it! My favorite read this year.

I was given an advance copy of this book by the author to review but this review in its entirety is my own thoughts and personal opinions.

Review: Tempted by Scandal

Tempted by Scandal Tempted by Scandal by Karen Booth
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tempted by Scandal by Karen Booth is the first book in the Dynasties: Secrets of the A list series. In this book . Nadia and her boss Matt have a secret that has been splashed all over a tabloid. Nadia is hard working and earned any and all promotions she has received yet finding herself in love with her boss could cost her the career she loves. She refuses to work in an atmosphere where everyone thinks she slept her way to the top.

Matt has fallen head over heals for his assistant and he doesn't understand why they can't just keep working together. He knows he hasn't given Nadia any special treatment and that's all that should matter.

I adored this hot and sexy read by Karen Booth. It was absolutely mouth watering.
