Review: No One But You

No One But You No One But You by Brenda Novak
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Dawson and Sadie have both had a rough past year if not longer. Dawson is the outcast of the entire town and well Sadie is divorcing the town's golden boy. In a small town such as Silver Springs the locals are your judge jury and executioner. Once the people of such a small place decide that you are guilty you are.

Sadie is having to leave her husband for circumstances she doesn't want the entire town to know. She just knows it is going to best for her and her son Jaden to no longer be in the house with Sly. The people in this town could never understand that they don't know what happens behind closed doors.

Dawson is trying to prove his innocence for a crime in which he didn't commit. Yet the entire town is determined that he is evil and the precious Golden Boy Sly's soon to be ex wife should not be anywhere near him.

This book shows you how small minded some small towns folk can be. Living in a place like Silver Springs everyone within a 50 mile radius knows your entire business even if you don't want too. So once a fire breaks out in Sadie's home and Dawson has to come to her rescue. Will she follow through with what these small town folk are already thinking she is doing or will she not?

I thoroughly enjoyed my second visit to Silver Springs and can not wait to see what Brenda has in store for us with it.
