Ghost by Janie Crouch
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Ghost by Janie Crouch is the fifth book in the Linear Tactical series. I have been dying to get my hands on this book and let me tell you Janie did not disappoint. Even with one eye open I had to finish this book last night. I could not put it down.
Dorian aka Ghost and Grace aka Ray have a story that is so heart wrenching that its mind blowing. I could feel the pain radiating off the pages as I read their story. Ghost has stood out waiting for his story to unfold as I have read this series and I dumb founded and blown away at the way Janie told it.
I thought he needed someone less broken to help him heal but boy was I wrong. He needed someone more broken than himself just so he could absolutely focus on her. Ray is the absolute perfect person for Ghost to pour his heart and soul into. No one else ever could have came close. Even when he thought she was dead for six years he felt nothing toward anyone else.
I did not feel that this book was anywhere as suspenseful as I have came to find Janie's other work but this one has so much more to it. I absolutely adored it! My favorite read this year.
I was given an advance copy of this book by the author to review but this review in its entirety is my own thoughts and personal opinions.
