Review: Claimed

Claimed Claimed by Alexa Riley
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I feel this book was over done. I loved the suspense but I felt like it repeated itself. I didn't find the way Jordan was absolutely obsessed with Jay sexy at all. I found it quite unnerving. the story had its good qualities but for me the were completely overshadowed by the parts that were constantly being overplayed.

Giving Chase

Giving Chase by Lauren Drake is a great read. It  took me a bit to get into and I almost put it down. The three different men in the first of the book was actually almost a complete turn off. I read further though and absolutely fell in love with the Chase family and Maggie. Alex gave me red flags from date one. I was glad to see her push him to the curb.

I honestly hated to see that she and Shane were not more charismatic but once Maggie and Kyle started dating I knew Shane could not compare.

Review: Secret Service Setup

Secret Service Setup Secret Service Setup by Jessica R. Patch
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Secret Service Setup by Jessica R. Patch is the second book in the Security Specialists series. This book was amazing. Do you love a good Christian based suspense book? Then you better get your hands on this one. A Second chance romance full of action and scripture. The perfect combination.

Evan and Jody were great together. Chemistry from first glace to the end. I could not put this book down. It was great. I have a tendency to save time when I am gonna read once of Jessica's books though because I know I will be reading it till I finish. This book shows the strength of forgiveness. The way someone feels when they are faced with forgiving themselves and helping others through tough obstacles. I can't wait to read more from this series.

Review: Her Alaskan Cowboy

Her Alaskan Cowboy Her Alaskan Cowboy by Belle Calhoune
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Her Alaskan Cowboy by Belle Calhoune is part of the Operation Love mini series. This series is about a small town who has created a dating service to marry off all the men of love. It has a small scarce of women and they are in hopes of women coming to Alaska for the program. Except in Her Alaskan Cowboy we get a second chance love story about people raised in Love, Alaska.

Joshua Ransom and Honor Prescott were the couple everyone just knew was going to follow through with that high school romance and go straight to the altar but life had other things in mind. Throughout years of heartache and pain Joshua return to love Alaska to settle his grandfathers estate.

Honor has tried to move on for years. Yet no man can compare to the love and feelings she felt for Joshua. So seeing him show up with a baby on his hip shakes her to the core. Then he wants to sell the land his grandfather was supposed to donate to the town and help her wildlife preserve. She won't settle for this and doesn't care just how much more hurt and pain it puts on hers and Joshua's relationship.

This book is a great read. I enjoyed every minute of it.
