Have you ever felt like the world was caving in around you and you had no way out? You will absolutely adore Trystan. I’m not going to lie, as a married woman going into this book I questioned the integrity of women meeting someone else while married. I took the time to not judge and learn the situation. Nothing is ever just as cut and dried as you may think. This book points out that not ever marriage is as picture perfect as you may think from the outside. I thoroughly respected Jayce in ever single action he took throughout this book. He is the epitome of what a man who meets someone who is unattainable should be. The way this story plays out is astounding and I could not put it down.

This book is the 6th book in The Lords of Commission Series. Even though it’s the last of the series it can be read as a standalone. It was a first Amaral book for me and I was not lost at all. In fact it had me so pulled in I almost didn’t go to my nail appointment 🤣 “The problem with saving someone from a monster? Sometimes you become one yourself.” Dang what a quote Mistaken Identity Crime Family Kidnapping Stockholm Syndrome I’ve licked her and shes mine energy I thoroughly loved Nikolai and his possessive nature. He is definitely a touch her and die MMC. You will not find a golden retriever here. He’s starving for love and affection yet has absolutely no idea. Addy on the other hand was a bit harder for me to come to terms with. I don’t know how to word it exactly. I liked her but she also got under my skin at the same time. She wanted to come off strong but the Stockholm Syndrome came on little strong for me. Don’t get me wrong she was a wonderful FMC. It was just hard for me to grasp her mentality. The two of them together though create a possessive bond that is unbreakable. I’m already looking forward to Amaral’s next release.
