I read this book as an ARC, this my honest and thoughtful opinion of the novel. Cutie in camo is a cute contemporary debut novel that gave me all the feels. I absolutely loved Raven and Jackson. I related a lot to Raven in this book except I’m not a fisherman lol 😂 I will go sit on the river bank while he fishes though. If you love a small town romance where he falls first this is absolutely for you. I felt the characters were well developed and loved the plot of the book. Raven has trust issues that she needed to work through and I felt that in my soul. This novel grabbed me and head on right all the way through. I had to know exactly how Raven and Jackson were going to end up. The book is dual POV. Animal lovers He falls first She needs a change of scenery Has a little spice Witty banter I will mention a few trigger warnings just in case. Mention of domestic abuse (physical as well as emotional) Cheating (not between MMC and FMC) Attempted assault/rape Mention of cancer & death

Something Like Sugar by Elsie Bea

I applied to be an ARC reader for this book because I typically enjoy most of the tropes involved in this story. Unfortunately for me this one just didn’t hit that bar. The story had some major potential but over all it moved too slowly for my personal taste. The book had its moments but you can only take so much of the repetition between the fmc and mc.

Friendship Enemies Small town This young adult book was a cute short read that I was able to finish in less than a day. If you love a cute small town story you will love this. If your looking for any kind of romance other harmless flirting you will not find it in this book. Lucy a teenage girl helping her mother run a coffee shop struggles with every day teen drama. She is absolutely focused on helping her mother make the best coffee shop and compete with the chain shop that just moved in across the street. Jack is a teenage boy who has moved around a lot and doesn’t care about the fame that comes from his families chain establishment. Jack just wants to have friends and live life, all while experiencing new things.
